WHAT IS A BOGUS CALLER?

GAS SAFETY REGISTER ROLLOUT

The Gas Safe Register replaces the CORGI gas register in Great Britain and the Isle of Man from 1st April 2009.
Please note the new logo which replaces the orange CORGI registration badge.  Anyone carrying out work on gas must be registered.  They should carry badges of the design depicted. On the reverse of the card carried is the type of work they are registered to carry out.
The initial confusion these new schemes can cause is obviously a potential opportunity for a distraction burglar or rogue trader.
